 The Microsoft Agent
control is alive and well. It seems that the Agent will be part of MS Office 2000. While it can
take a little while to download the control and the characters, it can be worth it, given
the amount of flexibility available with this control. You can make these little guys do almost anything you want! You can also interact with the Agent by using
voice commands . If you don't have a microphone plugged in, right-click on the Agent to see the list of commands available.

This page uses the Merlinsfx.acs character. If you don't hear the sound effects go to the MS Agent Home Page to get the character files. Check out microsoft.public.msagent and microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4.outlookexpress.msagent . These are two excellent sources of informative help and, lately, some really outstanding add-ons. :) If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to contact me at [email protected].
